From the earlier days of my work in Furniture Design (infact, my first furniture) - 'Twine' explores the elegant intersection of minimalism and structural integrity in furniture design.

Twine is a centre-table which uses simple wooden components held together by a deliberate tensioning system of black metal flats, creating stability through opposing forces rather than traditional 4-legged joinery. The circular wooden top appears to float above its base, supported by a carefully balanced stools. Twine was created to be both visually lightweight and structurally sound, challenging conventional construction methods while creating an aesthetically striking piece.

The project reflects my early exploration into material efficiency and thoughtful engineering during my Furniture design days at NID, Ahmedabad setting the foundation for my later journey across design disciplines.
